Ha Ha Ha... Love it.

This is hilarious. Time to wake up people, no one cares what you are doing every second of every day. If you ask me, narcissism is the biggest hurdle our generation is going to have to overcome.

Ha ha that is funny however I think (or at least this is how I am) on things like blogs, twitter, status' on MySpace and Facebook, vimeo, Flickr, etc...I update them for me, not for anyone else (although family and friends from far distances like to see what I'm up to too). I like looking back and remembering how I felt at certain instances. Its like the place marker to remind me that it's not time that makes up a life it's the moments.

No matter how hard I try, I just don't get twitter.

You're absolutely right that narcissism is running rampant. I've been shocked by how many people think the world lingers on their every blog entry (or worse... tweets).

The other issue I see with twitter is that it's reinforcing the worst of texter-culture. People don't express themselves anymore. Instead, they jot down one tenth of a thought - even when conversing with others.

Well said Rob. Josie, you are the exception to the rule :)

One guy explained to me the reason he twitters is because it's like all the nerdy kids in school get to talk in a secret super-cool language that none of the jocks or popular kids understand, and they get to make fun of them. It seemed kind of silly to me, so I asked him why he didn't just get out there and live life instead of wasting time making fun of those people in an effort to validate himself. He didn't have an answer.

People have all kinds of reasons for doing what they're doing, I just find it pointless to share with the world what I am doing every second of every day.
